- Dr. Michael A. Trainor earned his Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors from the University of Notre Dame in 1992. He went on to complete medical school and orthopedic surgery residency training at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following residency, Dr. Trainor completed his spine and neurosurgical training at the Kenton D. Leatherman Spine Fellowship Program, through the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Trainor is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Trainor was in private practice in Prescott, Arizona from 2004 until 2015, when he relocated to the Las Vegas area.Dr. Michael Trainor joined Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine full-time in April 2015, in part to work alongside his identical twin brother, Dr. Timothy Trainor. Dr. Michael Trainor specializes is minimally invasive cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal surgery – including, minimally invasive fusions and microdiscectomy, as well as fracture care. Dr. Trainor performs many spinal surgeries in the outpatient surgical center setting. Dr. Trainor also performs general orthopedic care, including fracture surgery, carpal tunnel release, and arthroscopic knee surgery.Dr. Trainor is a member of the North American Spine Society, Society of Lateral Access Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Trainor has given lectures and taught other surgeons minimally invasive spine surgical techniques at several national spine meetings. Dr. Trainor holds active licenses in Arizona and Nevada. Dr. Ai-Quoc Heller, a Podiatrist in our group that works most frequently with Dr. Thomman Kuruvilla. Gary D. Morris, M.D., began practice in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2000. His areas of expertise include the lower extremities, including traumatic and congenital conditions of the foot and ankle and total joint replacements of the ankle, knee, and hip. Dr. Morris also specializes in arthroscopic procedures of the lower extremities.
Dr. Morris received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University in 1990. In 1994, he received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. His surgical internship and orthopedic surgical residence were complete at Grace Hospital / Wayne State University in Detroit. He subsequently completed his foot and ankle sub specialty fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. During his fellowship training, Dr. Morris trained under Bill Hamilton, M.D., orthopedic surgeon for the New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theather, and School of American Ballet. Dr. Morris received further training in foot and ankle trauma surgery in Hannover, Germany, prior to joining Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center.
For several years, Dr. Morris has treated professional athletes and performers from many of the largest and most popular shows on the Las Vegas Strip including Celine Dion’s “A New Day” and several Cirque Du Soleil productions.

Dr. Peyman Danesh believes in personalized patient care to help get patients back on their feet. Dr. Danesh graduated cum laude from University of California, Los Angeles with a BA in Psychology. Dr. Danesh received his podiatric medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Podiatric Medicine in Pomona, CA. Dr. Danesh completed his comprehensive podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills in Queens, NY. His extensive training includes conservative and surgical management of all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, reconstructive surgery, trauma and wound care.
In his spare time, Dr. Danesh enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports and hiking. Dr. Danesh is fluent in Farsi and conversant in Hebrew.
